劍橋網站選「年度最佳美臀」惹爭議

【於慶中／綜合外電報導】英國百年名校這兩年常傳出脫序行為，劍橋大學旗下的學生網站《標籤》(The Tab)正舉辦《年度美臀大賽》(Rear of the Year Competition)，由來自各學院的5男5女大學生，在鏡頭前寬衣露臀拍照，讓同學評選年度美臀王。

10名參賽者以背部赤裸的方式，在校內各個地方，包括圖書館、洗衣間與禮堂拍攝照片，放在網站上供人票選。國際頂尖大學的年度「美臀王」，獎品或獎金必定十分優渥吧？冠軍將可獲得「免費進入劍橋大學科技博物館」一次的資格，換算成門票錢，只有2英鎊(約台幣94元)，顯然是個榮譽至上的活動。

但校內保守社團紛紛出面抗議，不該打著學校的名義辦這樣的活動，學生會成員更直批這個比賽「不負責任」，將使性別歧視問題更加惡化，但校方則對此活動「不予置評」。
